On June 19-20, 2010 at 148 10th St NW, Lilly Lab will have a table at Market Collective. A cool gathering of like minded artist to provide something unique and different for Calgarians to buy. Music, art, clothing, what have you, it's all going to be there, and so should you.

The Beckerman Sisters Style Lilly Lab up!

I was so excited to hear that the Beckerman sisters loved Lilly Lab, so I sent them a huge pile of it in the hopes that they might style it up on their Super Duper Fab Blog Beckerman Bite Plate. WELL!! They did and here are the results. I couldn't be happier. They always add these tremendous twists to the look, not to mention some pretty high end pieces. In Lilly Lab's case, heavy hitters like Donna Karen, Alexander Wang, YSL, and Burberry were used.

This show was unreal. I guess it was so unreal cause I had no idea Brit was such a good rocker. Her voice is so unique and she is easy on the eyes as are her band mates. The whole band is one pile of rockin' hotness and to me that equals star power. The gig was held at the underground club, which is below the Warehouse an old watering hole of mine. Headbangers littered the front row of the the set and found myself banging my head to the righteous tunes as well. Do you all see why Brit is full on Lilly Lab Rat material? Rock on sister!! What a liberating show.

The Big Scary Trade Show....SIA

Well, it isn't exactly scary from a buying stand point, but from a weeny little company called Lilly Lab's perspective it is. Here I am down in Las Vegas, doing the buying for MMS and braving the storm on the Little Lab front too, handing out catalogues, feeling my skin grow thicker by the minute. I got a little discombobulated... as I was trying to order one minute and all I could noticed were the people I wish knew, so I could tell them what Lilly Lab is all about.

One thing's for sure... if you have "brand power" you are sailing. OK, yes you do have to have a good product, but part of me really wonders how some companies do so well selling such shit! If only I had $2ook to spend on a full outerwear collection. People wouldn't know what to do. The ideas I have, and not being able to get them made, cause the banks are so freaked to give out business loans is a a sad thing. Just wait though, I will find a way, and Lilly Lab will be leading the way. Stores just have to get on board and support this movement. These shirts sell really well, I mean really well and there's no denying that.

Support the female sideways riding movement. Male or female, just support it.
